1. [REFLECTION] What was difficult for you—in meaning or in interpretation—from this week’s passage?
2. [JUSTICE] Verse 7-8 point out flaws on both sides of these Christo-familial injustices; how does this shed light on the work of Jesus Christ and our need for God’s ultimate justice?
3. [PAUL & JESUS] How do Paul’s rhetorical questions in v.7-10 reflect or mirror the teaching of Jesus in the beatitudes (Mt 5:2-12)?
4. [“SAINTHOOD”?] How does Paul calling the believers in Corinth “saints” strike you? Explain your answer.
5. [HEART] How are you/ can you be comforted or motivated by the threefold verbiage of “washed, sanctified, justified...” in v.11?
