DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

What was your main takeaway personally from our Sunday morning together—whether in

song, prayer, or sermon?

Easy in-road: Think of a time when someone did not follow through on what they

promised to you or in front of you. How did that make you feel? How did it make you view

that person?

- What is the danger in saying God “changed the rules,” so to speak, with the Law?

(or, on the other hand, with the cross?)

Quote from sermon: “God’s justice is the proof that His grace will hold.”

- Why would this be comforting to the Galatian believers? (or us today?)

Did Kyle’s explanation of the role of the Law make sense?

- What follow up questions do you have?

How does this passage help us see the role of the Old Testament for us New

Testament believers?

How does God’s covenant faithfulness challenge us in our own faithfulness to our

personal human covenants and contracts? (membership, marriage, work, etc...)
