i. What does it mean to build?

ii. What are the materials? (bonus: how can we distinguish them?)

iii. Who owns the building project/ runs it?

3. [TESTIMONY] Who are the people you can point to that planted and watered the seed of the gospel in your story, that the Lord has used to grow you?

4. [LOCAL CHURCH] What type of “material” constitutes the people of a mature/well-built church?

5. [LEADERSHIP] What marks of Christian leadership are in this passage? How can we, as the church, hold ourselves and our leaders accountable to this servant-hearted, Christ-centeredness?

6. [BROKEN PEOPLE] How does this passage give insight into how we should view the Church in light of failures by church leadership?

7. [CHRISTIAN LIFE] If God is the power of growth and founder of the building, how does this influence our view of our own salvation, holiness, and responsibility as members of His Church?
